Piacenza in Emilia Romagna - Teatro Giuseppe Verdi
Ricavato da un'antica abbazia di proprietà del capitolo ristrutturata a partire dal 1847 su progetto dell'architetto G. Perreau e decorato dal pittore Bertolotti, fu inaugurato nel 1853 con l'"Attila" di Giuseppe Verdi, a cui venne in seguito dedicato. Nel 1915 il pittore Varoli si occupò di rinnovare le decorazioni e dipinse autori celebri, figure mitologiche e le tre muse della pittura, della poesia e della musica.
Il Teatro, restaurato di recente, è stato riaperto al pubblico e ospita ad oggi gran parte della stagione di prosa di Fiorenzuola d'Arda. Dall'atrio a pianta regolare si accede alla platea con pianta a ferro di cavallo e con tre ordini di palchi e un loggione.
