Agritourism is a style of vacation in which hospitality is offered on farms. This may include the opportunity to assist with farming tasks during the visit. Agritourism is often practiced in wine growing regions, as in Italy, France and Spain. This site is a directory of Agritourisms in Europe where you can contact the owners directly.
Generally, services offered by Agritourisms in Europe can be divided into four main areas: Firstly, accommodations such as bed and breakfast and vacation farms. Secondly, tours associated with production or value-added processing (e.g. wineries, dairy operations) or scenic environments (e.g. botanical gardens, herb farms). These tours may be delivered by outside agencies or on-site farm operators. Cenacolo di Fuligno - Firenze in Toscana
Il Cenacolo si trova nell’antico convento delle Monache di Foligno, trasformato in "Conservatorio di povere e oneste fanciulle" nel 1829, dopo il trasferimento delle suore. L’affresco che ne costituisce la preziosa decorazione (m. 4,40 x 8) fu ritrovato nel 1845 ed attribuito in un primo momento a Raffaello, ma attualmente la critica tende ad assegnarlo ad allievi di Pietro Vannucci detto il Perugino (1445/50-1523) su disegno del maestro, datando l’opera tra il 1493-96.
È stata inoltre avanzata l’ipotesi che l’opera sostituisca un precedente affresco con lo stesso soggetto di Neri di Bicci (1419-1491 ca). L’affresco puo’ considerarsi una importantissima testimonianza della cultura umbra del Rinascimento a Firenze. Nel refettorio sono conservati anche affreschi di Bicci di Lorenzo (1429 ca.) staccati da altre zone del convento.
